I just read a review on All Music comparing Cobain to Lennon and Grohl to McCartney.

  1. Even though they never really wrote together?

  2. Duh, Cobain and Lennon were both shot. Grohl and McCartney went from the rhythm section to be guitarists in less influential groups.

    Or something.

  4. If Kurt Cobain's writing occasionally recalled John Lennon, Dave Grohl's songs are reminiscent of Paul McCartney -- they're driven by large, instantly memorable melodies, whether it's the joyous outburst of "This Is a Call" or the gentle pop of "Big Me."

  5. Hahahaha.

If Justin Timberlake sort of looks like Elton John in that one video, then Joey Fatone is most definitely a modern-day Bernie Taupin.
